I love my students...

As my last day with my 8th graders before, I leave on this trip, and they move on to various high schools, I am a bit saddened because it seems so sudden. Please feel free to interact and comment all along the way.

    1. Absolutely. These are some of the top marine scientists in the world, and I'm a land-locked middle school teacher! I am most apprehensive about leaving my students and family so suddenly.

    1. Yes! I met Dr. Cochlan and Vera Trainer, two of the lead scientists, last year on the San Juan Islands in Washington State. Otherwise, I now know Denis but will get to know the others real well very soon. I want to be out on the deck collecting data and analyzing data mostly. I will have to see when I get there but will get back to you on the others.
